Warning

You must report every individual that received direct financial support from the GPE-funded grant (e.g., stipend), and all non-GPE-funded trainees who participated in the same degree program as any GPE-funded trainee.

For practica/field placement programs, report on the overall degree program for PC-7 and INDGEN.

Enter Total # Enrolled (whether funded by BHW or not): Total: In Column 4 (Block 3), enter the total number of trainees who participated in each degree program during the current reporting period. Count all trainees who participated in the degree program, regardless of whether or not the trainee directly received a BHW-funded financial award.Enter Total # Enrolled (whether funded by BHW or not): URM: In Column 5 (Block 3a), enter the number of trainees who participated in the degree program during the current reporting period who were underrepresented minorities.Enter Total # Enrolled (whether funded by BHW or not): Disadvantaged Background and not URM: In Column 6 (Block 3b), enter the number of trainees from disadvantaged backgrounds who participated in the degree program during the current reporting period who were not underrepresented minorities.

Note
Blocks 3a and 3b are subsets of Block 3.

Note
For the total enrollee count (Column 4), DO include students who went on to graduate in the current reporting period. Do NOT include students who discontinued prior to graduation (i.e., dropped out). Drop-out counts will be captured separately in Block 9.

Example:

Example: The John Doe School degree program that had a practicum/field placement component had a total of 27 students enrolled. The John Doe School used BHW funds to provide stipends to 3 out of the 27 students in the program during the annual reporting period. During this period, 2 students permanently left the program before completion. In Column 4, the John Doe School would enter 25 total enrollees. Among the 25 students enrolled in this program, a total of 10 students are from disadvantaged backgrounds. Six (6) out of the 10 students from a disadvantaged background are also underrepresented minorities. The John Doe School would enter 6 underrepresented minority enrollees in Column 5 and 4 enrollees from a disadvantaged background in Column 6.

PC-7 - Entering Graduate Information

On PC-7, an individual is a graduate when they complete their degree program. If an individual completed their practicum/field placement but did not complete their degree, they are not considered a graduate.

Count all trainees who completed the degree program, regardless of whether or not the trainee directly received a BHW-funded financial award.

Enter Total # Graduated/Completed (whether funded by BHW or not): URM: In Column 8 (Block 8a), enter the number of trainees who completed all degree requirements during the reporting period who were underrepresented minorities.

Warning
Trainees who permanently left their degree program before completion (i.e., dropped out) are counted separately in Column 9 (Block 9).

Example:

Example: Among the 25 enrollees in the John Doe School degree program with a practicum/field placement component, a total of 8 students completed all requirements and graduated during this period. In Column 7, the John Doe School program would enter 8. Four (4) out of the 8 students who graduated are underrepresented minorities. In Column 8, the John Doe School program would enter 4.

Note
Block 9a is a subset of Block 9. The total entered in Block 9 is exclusive of the total number of enrollees (Block 3).
