CE - FAQs
Question 1: Where do we include individuals completing CE?
Answer: Place these individuals on the Continuing Education forms (CE1 and CE2).
Question 2: Where should we enter training for the supportive care workforce such as Course Development and Enhancement (CDE) or CE?
Answer: Please report training for the supportive care workforce on the CE forms. The CDE forms are for reporting on curriculum that was developed or enhancement and offered. Please reach out to your Project Officer if you have additional questions.
Question 3: For the CE forms, do the courses need to be academic courses or can they be courses that lean towards the health career community?
Answer: Yes. CE courses can target academic, professional, or patient and caregiver audiences. Please select the appropriate option on the CE Table for Column 1B, “Select Type of Course or Training Activity.”
Question 4: Are we to ensure NO redundancy of reporting in the CE and CDE tables?
Answer: CDE is for courses that are developed or enhanced by the grant. The CE is only for continuing education. A CE course may also appear on CDE if it was developed or enhanced by the grant, but the attendees of that course should only be reported on one form. Individuals should be counted for each course they take, but no one should be reported more than once for the same course.
